How to choose a Versa band
Versa generations do not all share a fitting, so the generation matters more than the name.
Which Versa models share bands?
Versa 3 and Versa 4 use the same connector as the Sense and Sense 2, so bands move freely between those four. The original Versa, Versa Lite and Versa 2 use an older, different fitting and form their own group. Bands do not cross between the two groups. The model name is printed on the back of the case.
Choosing for a larger case
The Versa is at the smartwatch end of the Fitbit range, so it carries wider bands well where they would overwhelm an Inspire or Luxe. Silicone remains the default for training and swimming, woven nylon is the most breathable for all-day and overnight wear, and leather works particularly well because the case is large enough to read as a proper watch.
Versa band questions
How do I change a Versa band?
Turn the watch over and find the spring-loaded lever on the underside of the band. Slide it toward the centre and that end lifts away. Fit the new band by seating one side first, then sliding the lever into place. The Versa is heavy enough that a half-seated band will not hold, so tug each half to check.
Are these bands sweat and water resistant?
Our silicone and nylon Versa bands handle sweat, showers and swimming. Rinse them with fresh water after pool or ocean use. Leather bands should be kept out of water.
