8mm in Diameter. For some reason I was expecting imperia at 1/4 inch. My fault for not verifying diameter of the dowel pins. Product is great. Recommend if you need 8mm wooden dowel pins.

Good quality dowels for wood repair or for joints. And I have tested them and they are homogeneous and of good quality.
Correct item, matches the description
Used these to fix a door hinge. The screws had stripped out the wood, so I drilled them out with a 6 mm drill bit to the depth of these dowels (I guess 40 mm), hammered in the dowels, then screwed the hinge back on. The screws are holding really well, and the door works much better now.
