Drill straight, centered holes in the edge of a board without a drill press. Two steel pins center the guide on the board, so dowel holes land in the middle every time.
Features
Self-centering: the two pins hug the board and put the hole in the center
Works on boards up to 65mm (about 2-1/2 in.) thick
Steel drill bushings keep the bit straight and vertical
Center lines on the guide for marking and lining up holes
Machined 6061 aluminum body, small enough for a tool pouch
What's Included
6, 8 & 10mm Bushings: red guide with 6mm, 8mm and 10mm drill bushings

Excellent set. The eternal problem of drilling holes in the end of chipboard vertically and precisely in the center is now solved. The only drawback: the screw-in guides for different diameters are not marked in any way. It's not critical, just inconvenient.
